I was called to a home to diagnose a leaky body on a ceiling fan coil. After inspecting the unit, I recommended a system change out to resolve the issue.

I was called to a home to diagnose a low refrigerant issue in a Samsung two-head system. I arrived at the home and performed a thorough inspection of the system. I found that the system had a low refrigerant charge, which was causing the system to not cool properly. I diagnosed the issue and recommended a repair. The customer agreed to the repair, and I scheduled an appointment for the next day. I arrived at the customer's home the next day and performed the repair. I replaced the refrigerant and tested the system to ensure it was cooling properly. The customer was happy with the repair, and I left the home satisfied that I had provided a quality service.
I am a professional HVAC technician who works for a local Affordable Heating and Air company. I recently completed a job at a mobile home that was equipped with an inverter technology system. Inverter technology is known for its energy efficiency, but it is also vulnerable to electrical grid interference and blackouts. I also noticed that the furnace was unplugged, but once I plugged it back in, it cycled. I found that the inducer motor started up and sounded normal, but the pressure switch was hanging loose but still closing properly. I also noticed that the igniter was energized and glowing, but it failed to open despite confirming that there was gas supply present. I also found that the gas valve was not opening the main issue, the blower motor was leaking oil, and the heat exchanger was tested with a flame and no visible cracks were detected. I recommended that the best long-term solution is to replace the blower motor, gas valve, and igniter, but the customer understands the risks and wishes to proceed with repairs u

I recently completed a job where I checked the sequence of operations on a Goodman furnace and discovered that the pressure transducer was bad. I am waiting on parts to arrive so that I can replace the transducer and get the furnace working properly again.
I was hired to remove and haul away an existing air handler and heat pump condenser, install a new 12k BTU air handler, install a new 12k BTU heat pump condenser, install a new refrigerant line set, and re-use the existing 240V electrical supply, stepdown to 115V. I also re-used the existing disconnect box and whip. The project also included re-using the existing pad. The project was completed on time and within budget.

The warranty call was for a pvc pipe that was leaking. The pipe was connected to another pvc using a rubber coupling. The coupling was not tight enough, so I removed the zip tie and attached two more to ensure a secure connection. I ran the pipe for about 10-13 minutes, and there was no leak.
I am a skilled professional that works for a Affordable Heating and Air company. I recently completed a job at a client's home where the system was blowing too hard, causing discomfort to the client's eyes, and the nanny reported that it was not cooling properly. Upon inspection, I found that the 2015 York package unit was set to fan only mode at the thermostat. The filter was extremely dirty, causing restriction and a whistling sound at the return intake. I called for cooling, and the system kicked on and began cooling. On a 72°F day, the system delivered a 16°F temperature split. The blower wheel was dirty, the condenser coils were dirty, and the electrical compartment was covered in dirt. I recommended performing a full system cleaning, including the blower wheel, condenser coils, and electrical compartment. I also recommended replacing the filter. The client agreed to the recommendations, and I completed the job successfully.
The customer called for cooling, but the system did not produce proper cooling. I hooked up temperature and refrigeration gauges and found that the refrigerant R-410A reading was 72/216, which is very low for this type of refrigerant. I found that the system has a refrigerant leak somewhere. A leak check is required to locate the leak and determine if it can be repaired or needs replacement. The system is from 2015 and no valid warranty remains. I recommended performing a nitrogen leak check to locate the leak and evaluate if the component can be repaired or needs replacement. As a temporary band-aid option, we can add leak sealant and recharge the system with the missing refrigerant. However, this repair cannot be guaranteed or warranted, since the actual location of the leak is unknown. The best option is to replace the system due to its age, condition, and lack of warranty. Maintenance has been minimal: the filter is dirty, and the system overall is dirty and needs cleaning.
