Edward Martinez was superb as is his style. I cannot say enough good about his work and outreach. How can l say more? Blessings to all. Ed.

Upon arrival, I began by inspecting the HVAC system to ensure its proper functioning. I accessed the filter compartment and examined the filter. It was visibly dirty, indicating a need for cleaning. As the filter was of the washable variety, I carefully removed it and rinsed it under running water to eliminate dust and debris. After ensuring it was thoroughly clean, I allowed it to dry completely before reinserting it into the system. With the clean filter in place, I tested the system to confirm its efficiency. The air quality noticeably improved, and the system operated smoothly, indicating that the cleaning had been successful.

I conducted a comprehensive preventative maintenance routine tune-up, starting with a thorough inspection of the system's key components. I checked and cleaned the air filters, ensuring optimal airflow. The lubrication of moving parts was performed to reduce friction and wear. I also inspected electrical connections and tightened any loose fittings. The system's performance was tested to ensure it operates efficiently. Additionally, I calibrated the thermostat and adjusted settings for optimal energy use. Finally, I provided the client with a detailed report of the work performed and recommendations for future maintenance.

We completed the installation of a Goodman 1.5-ton single-stage condenser with an SEER2 rating of up to 14.3, using R32 refrigerant. The installation included a 19HXS0/5 1.5-ton R32 ceiling fan coil. We removed and hauled away the existing equipment, installed two electrical service disconnect boxes, and added two electrical whips. A SS2 safety shut-off switch was also installed, along with a condensation line. We connected the system to the existing electrical circuit for the air handler and AC, added a disconnect box and power whip to match the air handler MOP, and connected it to the existing low voltage line. The customer provided thermostat was installed. The Goodman equipment comes with a 1-year labor warranty, a 10-year limited warranty on factory parts, and a 10-year limited warranty on the compressor. Payment terms were 10% down, 70% upon arrival, and 20% upon start-up.

Upon inspection, it was found that the capacitor and contactor were not functioning correctly. The capacitor, rated at 50/5, showed no readings on both settings. The contactor was emitting a buzzing sound, indicating that the internal coil was not operating properly. Given the system's age, dating back to 2001, any repairs would be temporary solutions. It is highly recommended to replace the entire system for optimal performance. The repair cost is structured as a 50% deposit upfront and the remaining 50% upon completion of the work.

I conducted a thorough assessment of the existing package unit, identifying its inefficiencies and potential issues. After evaluating the client's needs, I recommended a suitable replacement model that would enhance energy efficiency and performance. The replacement process involved careful removal of the old unit, ensuring minimal disruption. I installed the new package unit, connecting all necessary systems and ensuring everything functioned correctly. Post-installation, I conducted a comprehensive test to confirm optimal performance and provided the client with detailed maintenance tips. The entire process was completed efficiently, ensuring the client's satisfaction and peace of mind.

Upon inspection, I discovered that the air conditioning system's Freon levels were significantly low, which was impacting its efficiency. I conducted a thorough evaluation to confirm the issue and determined that the refrigerant needed to be replenished. However, the client opted to delay the replacement of the entire unit, choosing instead to address the Freon levels first. I carefully refilled the system with the appropriate amount of Freon, ensuring that the system was balanced and functioning optimally. This temporary solution should maintain the system's performance until a more permanent fix can be arranged.

We completed a comprehensive heat pump conversion, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. We removed and disposed of the existing equipment, then connected the 115V/220V air handler to the existing electrical connection. A 2-ton 18 SEER Carrier inverter heat pump condenser was installed, along with a matching 2-ton Carrier air handler. Electrical service disconnect boxes, whips, and a safety shut-off switch were added. We also installed a drain pan, condenser pad, and electrical pigtail. The system was connected to the existing low voltage line, supply plenum, and air ducts, and all supply vents were sealed. A new breaker was installed, and the Carrier standard warranties were applied.

Upon arrival, I began by inspecting the electrical systems, ensuring all circuits were functioning correctly and there were no signs of wear or damage. I then moved on to the plumbing, checking for leaks, water pressure, and the condition of pipes. The HVAC system was tested for efficiency and proper airflow. Appliances were examined for operational integrity and cleanliness. I also inspected the structural elements, looking for any signs of damage or wear. Finally, I reviewed the safety systems, including smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, ensuring they were all operational. Everything was found to be in excellent condition.
I completed a comprehensive heat pump conversion, ensuring a seamless transition to a more efficient system. The process began with the removal and disposal of the existing equipment. I then connected the 115V/220V air handler to the existing electrical connection. A 4-ton 15.2-18 SEER Carrier inverter heat pump condenser was installed, followed by a matching 4-ton Carrier air handler. Electrical service disconnect boxes, electrical whips, and a drain pan were also installed. The condensation line was blown out, and a condenser pad was added. Safety features such as an SS2 safety shut-off switch and electrical pig tail were installed. The Carrier thermostat was connected to the existing low voltage line, and the system was linked to the existing supply plenum and air ducts.

On the installation date, I removed and hauled away the existing equipment. I then installed a 4-ton Rheem heat pump package unit, a disconnect box, an electrical power whip, a supply plenum, and performed a supply duct change out (X9) and return duct change out (X1). The gas line was capped, and connections were made to the existing high voltage electrical line, low voltage line, and thermostat. The Rheem standard warranty includes 1 year of labor and a 10-year limited warranty on factory parts. The work was completed using a regular crane and is part of the Affordable Care Club and Care Club Essential plans. Payment terms include a 10% deposit, 70% upon crew arrival, and 20% at system start-up.
Edward Martinez and the team at Affordable are all fantastic
The cleaning of the package unit was good but the resealing of the ducts looks like a kids art project gone wrong. The airflow is worse now than before the work was done.
Excellant service
Clarissa was wonderful. As soon as heard that I had a 92 year old woman staying in my house and was without air conditioning she lept into action very late in the day and sent over Eugene. A highly professional and knowledgeable service man who diagnosed and fixed the condenser in a very short space of time. Everyone could breathe again and we are so very grateful
AC went out mid day and I called Affordable, they were able to come out that night to diagnose the problem and get the process started to having my unit repaired. A+++
