Overall, the tone is decidedly positive, with customers expressing trust, satisfaction, and willingness to recommend the service to others, reflecting a company that delivers reliable, customer-focused HVAC solutions.

During the inspection, I found a Honeywell whole-house media air cleaner with a 4” high-efficiency filter, enhancing particle capture. The return duct system showed normal dust accumulation. I recommend professional duct cleaning, installing a Scorpion UV germicidal light to reduce biological growth, and enrolling in the Comfort Care Club Maintenance Program for ongoing system checks and improved indoor air quality.

Upon inspection, the downstairs air handler exhibited a loud thumping noise. The blower motor was leaking oil and heavily clogged with dust. Given the system's age, replacing the blower motor and cleaning the assembly is a temporary fix. For the upstairs system, low refrigerant readings indicate an active leak. Adding refrigerant and sealant is a temporary solution, but replacement is recommended due to the system's age and refrigerant type.
I provided a comprehensive review of the quote, ensuring all aspects of the requested services were clearly outlined. This included a detailed breakdown of materials, labor costs, and any additional fees. I took the time to explain each component thoroughly, ensuring the client understood every detail. The quote was presented in a clear and professional manner, facilitating an informed decision-making process.

Lin go back

Service call

Upon inspection, it was determined that the rooms at the far end of the house were experiencing poor airflow and uneven comfort. This was traced to the branch duct system, which appeared to be undersized for the rooms it feeds. Additionally, the branch run was found to be crushed, kinked, or sagging, and the inner liner may have detached or collapsed inside the flex. Air leaks were also detected before it reached the far rooms. The scope of work involved tracing the branch from the supply plenum to each affected room, replacing damaged or restricted duct sections, correcting sizing/support as needed, sealing connections, and verifying airflow at each register after repairs. Due to the age and condition of the existing duct system, additional deficiencies may have been discovered during the work.

I conducted a thorough diagnostic inspection of the wall furnace due to operational and safety concerns. I examined the burner compartment, pilot assembly, thermopile, gas valve, and safety controls. The thermopile tested at approximately 480 mV DC, indicating it is generating sufficient power. However, a gas leak was detected at the pilot assembly, which showed significant age-related deterioration, corrosion, and contamination. Additionally, heavy dust and debris accumulation were found throughout the burner compartment. Due to the active gas leak, I recommend repairing the pilot assembly immediately. Continued operation is not advised until the leak is corrected.
TBD Payment: Cash/Check/ZelleI uninstalled the condenser unit and relocated it to an optimal position. A new line set was installed, with the suction line properly insulated. Additionally, a new electrical line was run, and the disconnect box was moved to its new location. A new power whip was installed. The homeowner understands that existing equipment will be used and that this is a temporary fix for a previous poor installation. Performance of the furnace remains unaffected.

Upon receiving a call about a no-cooling issue, I diagnosed the system and discovered the secondary condensate safety switch was activated, halting operations. Further inspection highlighted drainage issues within the condensate system. Notably, the vent breather was incorrectly installed before the P-trap instead of downstream, potentially impacting condensate drainage and primary drain line flow. After temporarily restoring system operation, I recommended clearing and blowing out the primary condensate drain line, and rebuilding the P-trap and vent configuration to meet proper installation standards, ensuring reliable drainage and preventing future safety switch trips.
