We diagnose and repair all AC problems across every major brand — refrigerant leaks, failed capacitors, compressor issues, frozen coils, and more. Most repairs are completed in a single visit from a fully stocked truck.
AC Installation and Replacement:
From Manual J load calculations to permit handling to final inspection. We install high-efficiency systems rated at SEER2 16 and above, with SEER2 18 to 21 the most popular choice for Valley homeowners looking to maximize savings against LA’s long cooling season. All installations are California Title 24 compliant.
Ductless Mini-Split Installation:
Ideal for older Valley homes, room additions, converted garages, and any space without existing ductwork. Inverter-driven mini-splits deliver zoned comfort at lower operating costs than traditional central systems.
AC Tune-Ups and Preventive Maintenance:
LA County AC systems run six to eight months per year. Annual tune-ups keep efficiency at rated levels, extend system life, and prevent small problems from becoming expensive summer emergency calls.
Short-cycling, cold air, ignition failures, unusual sounds — our technicians diagnose all furnace problems across all brands and fuel types and give you a clear estimate before any work begins.
When repair is no longer the right financial decision, we help you select and install the right heating system. For LA County’s mild winters, high-efficiency heat pumps are increasingly the smart first choice.
One system for both heating and cooling. Heat pumps run on electricity, qualify for LADWP rebates of up to $2,500 per ton on qualifying installations, and perform reliably across Southern California’s full seasonal range. See current rebate programs.
Wildfire smoke from the hills surrounding the San Fernando Valley — the Santa Susana Mountains, Simi Hills, and Angeles National Forest — makes IAQ protection a practical necessity, not an optional upgrade. We install MERV 13 and MERV 16 filters, iWave and REME HALO whole-home air purifiers, UV germicidal lights, and whole-home humidification systems. We also provide emergency IAQ responses when smoke events occur.
Air Duct Cleaning and Sealing:
Leaking or debris-filled ducts can account for up to 30% of your system’s energy loss. We clean, sanitize, and seal duct systems to California Title 24 standards — a particularly important step in Valley homes built between 1960 and 1990.
HVAC Maintenance — Care Club Plans :
Our Care Club plans include bi-annual tune-ups for both heating and cooling systems, priority scheduling, extended parts and labor warranty coverage, and discounted rates on any repairs. For homeowners running AC eight months a year in the Valley, a Care Club plan is one of the best returns on investment in home comfort.
Attic temperatures in uninsulated Valley homes can reach 150°F in summer — overwhelming even a well-functioning AC system. Proper attic insulation typically reduces cooling costs by 30 to 50 percent and meaningfully extends system life by cutting down total runtime. We install attic, wall, crawl space, and duct insulation.
Energy-Efficient HVAC Upgrades:
Smart thermostats, zoning systems, variable-speed equipment, and SEER2 system upgrades. We handle rebate documentation and identify every program applicable to your utility, ZIP code, and equipment choice at the time of installation.
Tank and tankless water heater repair and installation, leak detection, and drain cleaning for homes and businesses across LA County.

Coastal communities in Oxnard, Ventura, and Port Hueneme face salt-laden marine air that accelerates corrosion on outdoor condenser coils and electrical components — a problem that demands corrosion-resistant equipment and more frequent preventive maintenance than inland homes require.
We recommend and install epoxy-coated coils and WeatherShield-rated units for all coastal Ventura County installations.
Inland communities — Moorpark, Thousand Oaks, and the Conejo Valley — face summer heat cycles comparable to the San Fernando Valley, driving strong demand for SEER2 18+ systems and heat pump upgrades.

Working in the Valley isn’t the same as working anywhere else in Southern California. After 20+ years of combined experience based in Chatsworth, here is what our technicians see on every job:
Chatsworth, Northridge, and Granada Hills regularly hit 100°F to 108°F in July and August, with heat dome events keeping temperatures above 90°F overnight. Compressors that are undersized, overdue for maintenance, or running on low refrigerant fail hard during these events. The right system, properly sized and regularly serviced, handles them without issue.
Most of the Valley was built during this window. Original ductwork from that era is often cracked, disconnected, or so restricted it can’t deliver adequate airflow — undermining any system, no matter how new, installed on top of it. Duct inspection is standard on every installation we do.
An under-insulated Valley attic is frequently the real reason an AC runs continuously and delivers uneven comfort. Solving the insulation problem first — or at the same time as a system replacement — produces dramatically better results than a new system alone.
When smoke moves into the Valley during fire season, it carries fine particulate matter (PM2.5), ash, and chemical compounds that standard filters cannot stop. MERV 13 or higher filters combined with whole-home air purification provide meaningful protection. We install these year-round and respond to emergency IAQ calls when events occur.
Call us if your system is doing any of the following:

| Situation | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Under 10 years old, repair under $500 | Repair — cost-effective, years of life remaining |
| 10–15 years old, SEER below 14 | Evaluate — weigh repair cost against available rebates on new equipment |
| 15+ years old, repair over 50% of replacement cost | Replace — LADWP heat pump rebates up to $2,500/ton can significantly offset cost |
| Two or more repairs in the past 12 months | Replace — repeated failures signal end-of-life |
| R-22 refrigerant system (pre-2010) | Replace — R-22 is discontinued; refills are prohibitively expensive |
We give you the honest numbers and let you decide. We do not earn more by recommending replacement when repair is the right answer.
Choosing the right contractor is the most important step in making an informed decision.
California’s 2026 rebate landscape is strong for heat pump upgrades — LADWP offers up to $2,500 per ton on qualifying installations — but it is also moving fast. The federal Section 25C tax credit expired at the end of 2025. HEEHRA single-family rebates are on a waitlist in Southern California. Programs open and close frequently.
We stay current on every available program and handle all rebate paperwork on your behalf.
We install central air conditioning systems, ductless mini-split systems, heat pumps (ducted and ductless), gas furnaces, and high-AFUE dual-fuel systems. All installations are sized using Manual J load calculations and comply with California Title 24. For most San Fernando Valley homes built before 1990, we also recommend a duct inspection before any new system goes in.
Twice per year is the standard — once before the cooling season (spring) and once before the heating season (fall). Valley systems run harder than most due to longer cooling seasons and significant temperature swings. Our Care Club maintenance plan covers both visits with priority scheduling and extended warranty protection.
California’s current energy code requires systems to meet minimum SEER2 thresholds. We recommend SEER2 18 or higher for most San Fernando Valley homes — the efficiency premium typically pays back in 3 to 5 years against LA’s elevated utility rates and long cooling season. The higher the SEER2, the greater the rebate potential from LADWP.
Care Club is our ongoing maintenance program that includes two comprehensive service visits per year, priority scheduling, extended parts and labor warranty coverage, and discounted rates on any repairs needed between visits. It is designed specifically for homeowners who want consistent performance and protection against unexpected breakdowns without managing individual service appointments.
Common signs include uneven room temperatures, unexplained increases in energy bills, excessive dust accumulation on registers, or a musty smell when the system runs. In Valley homes built before 1990, we almost always find some degree of air leakage during inspections. Our duct cleaning process includes a camera inspection first — we document what we find before any work begins.
Serving Chatsworth, Northridge, Granada Hills, Porter Ranch, Van Nuys, Glendale, Santa Clarita, Woodland Hills, Burbank, and all of Los Angeles County. Also serving Ventura County through our Simi Valley branch.

Completed service

Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough diagnostic assessment of the 2014 Goodman Furnace paired with a 2024 Coil & Condenser. The client reported issues with the system not cooling adequately. After walking through the property with the client, I confirmed that the system was actively cooling, and temperature probes were installed to verify performance. Refrigerant pressures and operating conditions were within manufacturer specifications, and the system was producing an acceptable 20°F temperature split across the evaporator coil. Further inspection revealed that the evaporator coil was clean, the drain pan was dry, and the SS2 safety switch was operating properly. The blower motor, recently replaced, was overheating due to a weak capacitor. Electrical testing confirmed the capacitor was significantly below the acceptable range (16.8 MFD vs. 19-21 MFD). Additionally, the outdoor condenser coils were dirty, which I cleaned to improve efficiency. I recommended replacing the capacitor and

Upon inspection, I pressurised the refrigerant lines to identify the leak source. Through careful isolation and pressure testing, I discovered a kinked copper line concealed within the wall. This issue necessitates replacing the refrigerant line set for the HVAC system. Although the leak search is complimentary due to the recent equipment installation, replacing the line set is essential to restore system functionality.

Service diagnostic
Upon inspection, I identified a loose wire connection on the capacitor. This issue was causing an intermittent power supply, leading to inconsistent performance. I carefully detached the faulty wire and reconnected it securely to ensure a stable connection. After reassembling the components, I tested the system to confirm that the capacitor was functioning correctly. The appliance is now operating smoothly, with no further issues detected.
VERY INFORMED AND GREAT MANNERS
Excellent service
